The show is a homecoming for Krietemeyer, his first substantial L.A. exhibition since 2008. “Oh Snap” will feature large graphite renderings with watercolor abstractions of acid house smileys, handmade multiples exploring the idea of almost reaching enlightenment but forgetting the path that took you there, and mixed media panels representing a warm remembering of warehouse parties, surf salutations, desert discoveries, and the infinite present. The exhibition will be colorful, silly, and optimistic with a vibe that’s completely California. Please plan to attend as you are cordially invited and warmly welcomed. Update: The show was a blast.
